Shana Rose Wiseman

Shana Rose is a Toronto based actor, singer/songwriter, and filmmaker, a graduate (Honours, President's List) of Toronto Film School where they trained in Film, TV, Theatre, and Voiceover. They are also passionate about vocal work, having trained as a Mezzo-Soprano with the Toronto Arts Academy, and playing voiceover roles in a range of projects. Throughout adolescence, they participated in many extracurricular Musical Theatre productions, including The Prince of Egypt with the Neshama Theatre Troupe. Shana has also performed as the lead role in several short films, including Fairyland, with Centennial College and The Missing Ring and Dr. Lobotomy, a TV pilot, with Toronto Film School. They wrote, directed, and starred in the silent short film, Truth, and are in pre-production of their next original film, inspired by true events. Shana Rose is a lifelong learner and will continue to be a hard-working, responsive, and innovative contributor with every acting and voice project in their successful career as an artist.

Shana Rose graduated from Ryerson University's Photographic Arts' program and studied Psychology at Excelsior College in New York. They speak English, Hebrew, and French, with a certificate from St. Anne University's French Immersion program. They enjoy being active with swimming, indoor rock-climbing, and playing ukulele, and train in Hip-Hop and Modern dance styles with The Underground Dance Centre. They have many years of experience writing poetry, prose, and screenplays, with writing and photography pieces published in several anthologies. Shana is a lifelong learner and will continue to be a hard-working, responsive, and innovative contributor with every acting and voice project in their successful career as an artist.
