Christina Piscitelli

Christina Piscitelli received her BFA from Emerson College and an Associate in Art from Dean Junior College. She has been on National Tours; one was for Paul Jacobs Productions and Mattel Toys and another was for Special Productions based out of NYC. Christina toured to various locations performing as various characters from the show "Puzzle Place" on PBS. Several years ago she was on tour for Disney Radio. The tour was entitled "Magic Carpet Time Tour" for which she did character work. She also did a local tour for two years with Riverside Theater. The first year she performed various characters in "Hans Brinker and the Silver Skates." The second year she did character work in the show "Esperanza Rising." From 1999 to present she directs a summer outreach dance program called "Reach." For ten years Christina performed with Dance Collective dancing in school assemblies and public shows. Chris was on the faculty of the Ipswich Middle School where she taught drama, dance, directed and choreographed the plays and musicals. Chris also taught for many years for the Topf Center for Dance Education in Boston's inner city public school system. She continues to teach for public and private schools. She continues to be an educator of dance with Young Audiences of Massachusetts and Mass Movement. Chris also teaches acting in private and public schools throughout Massachusetts. Other teaching credits include Emerson College Youtheater, Lexington School of Ballet, and the Ipswich Moving Company. In 2010 Christina received a grant from the Wareham Cultural Council to teach a six weekdance residency program at the Wareham Boys and Girls Club. For seven years she was the choreographer for the Freelance Players and Freelance Troupe. From 2002 to 2010 Chris choreographed the musicals for the Charles River School in Dover, MA. Christina has performed with Dance Heritage, Dance Collective, MJT/Tslila Dance Company, and Choreo. Chris has performed at King Richard's Faire as a Gypsy Dancer for eighteen years and produced an original show there for two years. Christina also does promotional work, corporate shows, team building events, public shows, look a-like work, and comic improvisation.
