Josephine Powers

Josephine aka Jojo is a woman of many talents, from growing up in the wilderness of Vermont to becoming a professional dancer, fitness coach and model, actress and a singer songwriter. Josephine pursued trained at CAP21 for musical theater and the renowned Ailey school for dance. During her years in training she was a dance captain in several off broadway shows and regional theater including “Babes in Arms” and “Chicago”. She has danced for choreographers including Ronald k Brown and Earl Mosley. As well as choreographed her own work for Phantom Theater and Cherry Lane. Josephine pursued personal training as a way to support herself while she was a student but she quickly excelled as a trainer in New York, got hired at Tonehouse at age 20 and Trooper fitness. Josephine competes and podiums in several athletic competitions and has trained ex NFL athletes, Olympic soccer players, professional dancers and the Harlem kids lacrosse team.

During the pandemic Josephine found her creative outlet through music, she has released music on Spotify and Apple Music as JPK. She now focuses on her work as an actor and has starred in a handful of small films!
