Noah Israel

Hey there!

I've been a working actor for 7 years now. My experience ranges from TV, film, shorts, voiceover, to the bulk of which as theatre actor. I graduated from University of California San Diego's MFA in Acting program in 2022 and am now based in LA. I have also worked as a reader and know what casting directors want to see in the room or on your tape. I like to keep things light and silly even as we dig deep into the material, and my experience as an acting coach will help you craft the strongest audition!

My specific approach:
- Linklater Voice Technique - to give you the most free sound and use your active breath to connect to your audience through the screen
- Alexander Technique - to get out of the way of your body to let the auditor take in your beautiful work
- Lecoq and Commedia Clown/Movement - using specific movement choices where appropriate to liven up your self tape and rise above the rest
- Meisner - to help drop into the meaning of the language and your scene partner

I can't wait to work with you!

If you liked working with me, hit that "Favorite" Heart at the top, and feel free to reach out on IG (@noahcisrael) or via email (noahcisrael@gmail.com) to book a future session!

SERVICES
My range is pretty wide. My accent work is detailed and I learn them easily. I'm quick to pick up comedic timing and tone, but here are the types I most easily play:
- naive, wide-eyed lovers
- vulnerable, sensitive souls
- crime/medical drama ("jargony" stuff)
- granola, chilled-out surfer bro/yogi
- ignorant white boy

60 MINUTES

- a couple medium scenes or one long scene
- detailed work on the given circumstances
- working out beats for comedic framework or dramatic build
- multiple opportunities for feedback and takes with incorporated notes
