Melanie M Jackson

Greetings! While I have been in the entertainment industry for over 20 years, my latest works are in Theatre, playing lead roles in the plays, Intervention, White Noise, and Cock Knocker, all of which were performed at IO Comedy Club in Chicago, Illinois.
I have EXTENSIVE acting training, from On-Camera Training from The Green Room Chicago, various other workshops at The Green Room, workshops with Vagabond School, workshops taught by Jess Gisin Needham of 4Star Casting, and am currently enrolled at the MA School of Acting in the the Monolgue studies program taught by actor Max Arciniega.

I was a child model and actress, performing in various broadway plays (i.e.: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat starring Donny Osmond). I was also a concert pianist, performing at various events, giving concerts, performing with the Minnesota Orchestra, and being a featured artist at The Gateways Jazz Festivals in Rochester, New York and Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

I am not new to the arts, however despite my many performing years life has a way of taking us down paths to learn the necessary lessons and gain the wisdom that our destined paths need for us to be ready when we are met and walk in our true purpose. I have played many "roles" in my life, from being a Waitress, Restaurant Manager, Bartender, Data Entry at the IRS, Car salesperson (BMW, all GM and Ford brand vehicles, Hyundai), and am currently a Real Estate Broker, which makes me qualified to say I am also a Small Business Owner. Even an exotic dancer!!! - Which, in itself, was a very UNIQUE experience...

I am an extremely pleasant, charming, witty, down-to-earth, hard-working, and honest person. During this COVID19 quarantine I have taken this opportunity to embark on a personal journey within myself to discover who I am really and what my purpose is. One can say I'm traveling the path of enlightenment, while I would say I was eager to get to know myself again and learn to forgive myself for any wrong and embarrassing steps I've taken, to let go of the mental baggage that was holding me back from living in the present, and to embrace and unconditionally love the person that I have become. Once you have me in your space, you will never want me to leave.

I look forward to meeting you very soon!
