Lola Maltz

Hi! I'm a NYC-based Actress, Writer, Creator and Personal Trainer. I graduated from UC Irvine with a BA in Drama and a Minor in Education. I've studied Meisner at the Matthew Corozine Studio for the past seven years where I discovered my full range as an actor, along with my love for creating new work in Theatre and TV/Film. I've completed Improv levels 101, 201 and 301 at Upright Citizen's Brigade, and I'm in an ongoing Writer's Group where I've written numerous sketch comedies, episodes, a short film, and I'm in the process of writing a full-length play. Recently I co-launched a production company, Messy Stars Productions @messystarsproductions, that has a film FILLING THE VOID in which I co-wrote, co-acted in, and co-created and is currently running the film festival circuit. Fun fact about me is that I have a one-woman musical that I wrote called My Mom is a Sex Therapist based on my life journey as the daughter of a sex therapist that I've performed at the Duplex among many other venues and festivals in New York City since 2010.
