Goran Ivanovski

I am a versatile actor who's been doing this craft for over 20 years. I started in High School with the words 'Books Sir! Books, from the bookkeeper!' and never looked back. I have done theater in NYC with esteemed companies such as The Living Theater, The Michael Chekhov Theater Company, Live-In Theater, The Flea Theater, The Ensemble Studio, and combined, have done over 40 productions. I have been nominated for best actor award by the NY Independent Theater review. After my stint in NY I moved to LA where I received my MFA in Acting from USC. During my time there I collaborated on 6 MainStage shows, 5 thesis films with the Film School, worked on an original reworking of 'A Bright Room Called Day' with Tony Kushner, and directed 2 plays. I was awarded the Stanley Muskgrove Theater Award for Excellence. Since that time I have been recurring on "For All Mankind", on AppleTV, guest starred on 'Lucifer', 'Dead To Me', and 'American Auto' to name a few. I enjoy working on challenging roles, accent work and in depth analysis of character. Research is my favorite part of acting.

I can best help you with analyzing text, breaking down beats and character info, how to make the most with what limited information you have on hand. Reading and performing the text, we'll see how it's written, find the tone and cadence of speech and apply it best.

I can work with you vocally. Warm you up using Linklater technique, this will free up your voice, get you breathing more naturally and more freely so that impulses can have a wider range. Also, I am very adept at accents and I can work on English, Irish, Scottish, German, French, Eastern European, Russian, all American dialects, etc.

I can Read with you if you need a scene partner.

I can Help you set up and find the best angles for your shot, give you slight direction as to whether to enter or leave a scene, which way to face, eye line, etc.
