David Koff

David Koff has been acting, writing, and producing theater professionally since 1991. He's been a proud member of SAG/AFTRA since 1993 and has appeared on well known TV shows, commercials, and feature films.

Since 2001, he's been the artistic director of Fake Radio, America's most beloved old-time radio comedy troupe. In this role, David had the honor of directing and acting with: Ray Romano, John Larroquette, Fred Willard, Phil Lamarr, Lynne Stewart, Mindy Sterling, Marcia Wallace, and more.

David studied improv for 4 years at "The Groundlings" in Los Angeles, then a decade with Groundlings alum Stan Wells at the "Empty Stage Theatre”, and then five years in the master class of Bill Steinkellner, executive producer of “Cheers” and “Just Shoot Me”.

So you can expect a ton of quick feedback, in-the-moment discovery, and psychological insights into your work to help maximize your time on camera.

In 2018, David founded the Change Through Play studio where he teaches improvisation as a life skill to students of all ages. He continues to bring his unique training style to help both his corporate clients and recovering addicts at his studio in Southwest Portland.

David Koff has been acting professionally since 1991. He's appeared on the TV shows “The West Wing", "The John Larroquette Show", and "Sesame Street" and continues to appear in national commercials and feature films.

He sold his first screenplay to Fox Family Films in 1993 and continues to write for the stage and screen.

Since moving to Portland, David’s shot several national commercials for Comcast, Nike, 1-800-Contacts, and others and continues to land roles in feature films.
