Dan Starkey

Hello! I'm Dan Starkey, an actor of nearly 20 years professional experience. I trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, and have worked on stage, screen and audio. I'm best known on TV for Doctor Who (2007-22) Class Dismissed (2016) and Wizards vs. Aliens (2012) for the BBC, as well as appearances on many other programmes and platforms. I’m also an experienced voice over artist, and improviser.

I’d be delighted to help you read for a part, or offer my *sage* advice. I’m also pretty handy with UK dialects, having
specialised in multi-voice work on audio. I’m no stranger to prosthetic work, having been encased in rubber suits and makeup for many years on screen, so I can advise on this idiosyncratic performance mode too…
