Christian Maltez

Christian Maltez is a Nicaraguan/American stage trained actor fluent in Spanish. Though a native Angeleno, He has firm roots in his Nicaraguan heritage.

A self-taught pianist, he began his musical career as the synth player in an indie rock band playing the underground scene to major venues, touring nationally, releasing records and E.P.'s over the span of several years.

Given his musical background, Christian's first acting role was in high school as Bernardo in "West Side Story." Since then he's been honing his craft in the Los Angeles independent film scene. Having worked on indie shorts/features and shooting television commercials.

As a proud member of the GGC Players theatre company, he has appeared in numerous full stage productions; Including the works of Shakespeare and contemporary pieces such as "The Motherf**ker with The Hat" (Winner Best Ensemble- Stage Scene LA). Both "Much Ado About Nothing", and "Down On Your Knees and Up To The Moon" ( an original A Capella musical) received NAACP theatre awards.

As an L.A actor, Christian values training. He studies and coaches exclusively with award-winning director and actress Gloria Gifford in her advanced scene study class in between jobs.
