I started acting 22 years ago at the age of 15. At 16, I embarked on my artistic journey at the Warren Consolidated School of Performing Arts Theater Program. This formative experience laid the groundwork for my future pursuits. As I honed my craft, I concurrently pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Wayne State University. Amidst my academic endeavors, I found myself immersed in the vibrant arts community, contributing to Art4Artillery through various creative projects.
During summers, the iconic Russell Industrial Center became my stage, where I showcased my talents in captivating performances. Venturing into the enchanting world of puppetry, I spent a year as a Puppeteer at the esteemed Puppet Art Theater in Downtown Detroit, captivating audiences with whimsical performances.
Guided by a passion for cinema and talent development, I had the privilege of reading and assisting under the tutelage of Phaedra Harris, whose expertise lies in black film and talent. Presently based in Detroit, Michigan, I am proudly represented by the I-Group Talent Agency in Southfield, where I continue to pursue opportunities in the dynamic entertainment industry.
My journey further led me to assume multifaceted roles at Productions Plus Talent Agency in Bingham Farms, Michigan, where for over a decade, I served as a recruiter, reader, actor, and talent coordinator. These diverse experiences have enriched my understanding of the industry, shaping me into a versatile and seasoned professional, ready to embark on new creative endeavors.
Born and bred in the vibrant city of Detroit, Michigan, and nurtured amidst the bustling suburbs of Metro Detroit, I proudly embody the rich tapestry of my Detroit heritage. From the outset, I was a trailblazer, marching to the beat of my own drum and carving my path in the world of arts from a tender age.
In the days when 35mm meter cameras reigned supreme, my fascination with photography blossomed, revealing a keen eye for capturing moments frozen in time. Even in those early years, I displayed a flair for multimedia, mastering the intricacies of recording, editing, and seamlessly incorporating sounds into home videos.
Yet, as time marched on, my passions evolved, leading me down different avenues of creative exploration. Though my fervor for photography waned, the flame of artistic expression continued to burn bright within me, propelling me towards new horizons and opportunities in the vast realm of the arts.
