Rowena Meddeman

Rowena was born in Winchester, England. The middle daughter of English parents, William and Christine Bodey, an Orthopaedic Surgeon and Nurse. She spent the first few years of her life living in a small village on the outskirts of Bath and relocated, with her family, to Buckinghamshire when she was six. She knew she wanted to be an Actress from a young age and landed the challenging lead role of Helen Keller in her house play at primary school . She joined Redroofs Theatre School in Maidenhead as a part time drama pupil when she was nine and made her professional debut as Little Eponine in Les Miserables at the Palace Theatre, London in 1989, returning for a second run in 1990. She joined Redroofs Theatre School as a full time pupil later that year and whilst there studied Drama, Singing and Dancing. She graduated from Redroofs in 1999. Rowena is married, has two children and still lives in Buckinghamshire. Rowena took a break from the industry when she became a Mother and returned in 2015.
