Cathy Conneff

Hi,

I’m Cathy and I’m a northern actor with RP to native standard.

I have been working in the industry full time for fourteen years and have had the great pleasure of working on a number of fantastic shows and films including Casualty, Coronation Street, the feature I’m Not in Love (which is due to be released shortly and 24 Hours to Live or Die (Dragonflies only Live for 24 Hours in the USA), which is currently available to stream on Amazon Prime.

I’m also honoured to have won Best Supporting Actress the Madrid International Film Festival 2017 for my role as Magenta in Sophia Lazzati and the inaugural Mandy Monologue Competition Actor’s Choice Award. I was also recently nominated for an Off West End Award for Best Solo Performer for my performance in 21 Round For Christmas at The Park Theatre.

I love working with other actors - exploring texts together and getting the most out of a scene that we possibly can.

I take a great deal of care with all the scenes I work on, whether I am the auditionee or the helper and it
genuinely delights me to see people I have helped book a role!

I have also worked regularly as a reader in in-person auditions, which means that I have become rather adept at working on a last minute scene quickly to make sure I am giving those auditioning something to work with.

My aim is to make sure that you walk away feeling as well prepared and confident as you can possibly be, or with a self tape that will show you at your very best and I will do everything I can to facilitate that.

I look forward to working with you,

Cathy
