more about me:
half Honduran/ half Puerto Rican (fluent in Spanish--native speaker w/ a Puerto Rican accent). in 2004 i had the blessing of performing on Chicago Broadway for the city's run of the national tour of EVITA & i never looked back. i've been performing & working professionally ever since. i'm a SAG-AFTRA member, a private acting coach/ teaching artist, a small business owner/ marketing consultant, & a dude who loves music
training/ approach to work:
i've worked in classical & musical theatre, film, television, commercials, industrial work, print modeling, & animated voiceovers. although i've trained in different styles & methods (B.A. in Theatre--Meisner Technique, Stanislavski, Viewpoints, Text Analysis), i like to take a much more "real-to-you" approach. honesty & vulnerability are my strongest traits, they are the heart of how i approach all my work

Ulises David "Uli" Acosta (born November 1, 1994) is an Afro-Latino actor, singer, musician & writer. Born in Waukegan, IL from a Honduran immigrant father, Jose David Acosta, and a Puerto Rican mother, Marisol Perez (Uli is a fluent, native Spanish speaker with a natural Puerto Rican accent).
Before the end of his middle school years, he'd go on to work in Chicago Broadway, commercial work, print modeling, animated voice overs, and in films alongside greats such as Alfred Molina, John Leguizamo, Frank Vincent, and more. Uli spent his high school years training and performing at the Actors Training Center in Wilmette, IL. He attended Loyola University Chicago on a full-ride academic scholarship and graduated with a B.A. in Theatre (Class of '17).
He currently lives in Atlanta, GA where he works as an actor, a teaching artist, a private acting coach, and marketing consultant for small businesses.
