Tonea Juanita

Tonea Juanita Lolin was born in Washington D.C., raised in San Diego, CA, and currently resides in Los Angeles, CA. Tonea is an actress with a love and passion for the arts and cultural studies. She enjoys using her talents portraying characters both on screen and on stage. She began her journey at age 12 as an ensemble member in Bye Bye Birdie, and was bitten by the acting bug as they say. During her high school years she participated in several plays, as well as Speech and Debate/ Forensics, becoming the 10th place winner in Dramatic Interpretation for her portrayal of Maya Angelou’s I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings. It was then she knew: she needed to make a career of portraying others!

After graduating from UC Santa Barbara with her BFA in Acting and BA in Social Cultural Linguistics in 2016, she ventured to Portland, OR to act professionally in regional theater. Though she learned much from her 3 years of acting in the Pacific NW, Los Angeles was calling her back home! Since late 2019, she has hit the ground running in acting in films, television, and commercials. She hopes to use her passion for culture and the arts to participate in unique work within the industry. Both on screen and on stage.
