HIII!! My name is Mekaila. I’m originally from Long Beach but reside in Houston, Tx. I am 19 years old and I have been doing theatrical theatre for 6 years. I went to thespian festival (PROUDLY REPRESENTING TROUPE 1446) for two years and competed , got commended to nationals the second year 2020 . I had several major roles like Antigone from Eurydice and Meg Murray from a wrinkle in time . I have no manager or representation! Acting is definitely hobby. It’s something I like to do and the art of it all is very nostalgic. The depth of film creates many emotions. It creates a connection with the audience in a level that is almost personal. I’ve always been kind of a loner in school so movies always kept me company. It always made me feel something. It was my first connection and the moment I truly understood movies and the art, I knew it was what I wanted to do.
