Georgina Russell
Hello! I'm Georgina, an actor based in Bristol, UK. I recently completed my Masters in Screen Acting at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School where I was trained by some wonderful actors and industry professionals, and spent a whole year reading scripts, getting them off the page, learning acting techniques and filming scenes.
My first degree was at Manchester School of Theatre, a drama school training where I learnt acting for theatre. Theatre is where my love for acting began and where I feel like I'm home!
I am passionate about crafting authentic performances that feel genuinely truthful for the actor, and have studied in depth the techniques of Stanislavski, Meisner and Demidov.
I am open to giving constructive criticism and workshopping the scene a few times before we shoot, or simply to just get down to business straight away, depending on how you work best. The most important thing is that you feel happy with your final take at the end of it. I always think if you came out of a take and can hardly remember what just happened, you did a good job! Because it means you were truly living in the moment.
For that to happen, it is important that you feel comfortable in the space, so please just let me know what you need to get into that headspace and I will do my absolute best to accommodate that. No request is too silly! We're all in the same boat :)
I look forward to working with you!
