I'm an award winning film actor, writer and director, so I have been on both sides of the table in the audition room. I know the pressure of wanting to do the best audition possible AND I know how much a great reader can bring out a more natural and inspired performance in us. Which is my goal when I read with actors who audition for my projects.
*Funny story* I once auditioned for a role where there were no audition sides. It was completely improved and with no other actors. I booked the job ;)

Since a teen, Emily has worked as an actor on stage, in film, as well as radio. She has been nominated as Best Actress in multiple festivals, including a win with the Christian Film Festival in Virginia. She wrote, directed and acted in her first produced film, Kindred Spirits, a light hearted drama which won the Texas Short Film Festival for Best Drama. She has since co-produced two short westerns (including Big Iron which has won multiple film awards), and The Satchel with the Texas State Railroad. She is currently in post with a comedy she starred in called Ripple Cut and in pre production for a WWII short film she will film later this year. Skills include singing soprano voice, horseback riding and swimming.
