Hi! I'm a classically trained theater actor with over a decade of experience on camera. Most importantly, as a reader, I excel at cold reading and timing -- be it comedic or dramatic -- to give you the support and energy you need to perform your best.
DIANA CHERKAS is an actor and writer, born and raised in Queens, NY. A graduate of LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts (aka. the “Fame” school), she studied at Moscow Art Theatre School in Moscow, Russia, before earning her B.S. from Georgetown University in Management of Information Systems.
On screen and stage, as in life, Diana is an off-beat, sarcastic, fast-talker who comes across as either perfectly put together or a spastic hot mess, depending on what moment you catch her in.
After studying improv and sketch comedy at UCB, she began writing and performing sketches with NEW MEDIA COMEDY and STuFF, which reached the PIT’s Sketchfest before spontaneously combusting. Branching into longer form, she now writes web series and half hour comedy in addition to performing.
