Dani Baum (SAG-AFTRA, AEA) is an actress, director, writer, producer, acting coach, singer, harpist & native New Yorker. Most recently, Dani appeared on HBO'S Succession, MARVEL'S Iron Fist & CBS' Bull. Her film credits include, Don Peyote w/ Anne Hathaway, Making the Day w/ Dan Fogler, Afterschool w/ Ezra Miller & I'm Will Ferrel w/ David Hasselhoff & Fred Willard. Giant Support, Cupcakes & The Ring are among short films that Dani directed.
Dani has devoted her life to the craft of acting and has studied for years with some of the greatest acting teachers of this time including; Larry Moss, Susan Batson, Anthony Abeson, Alan Langdon, John Tyrell and John Dapolito. She has studied at Circle in the Square Theatre School, The People's Improv Theatre (The PIT) and The Second City in Chicago.
When Dani isn't acting or coaching she is exploring the world. She believes that we learn and grow the most when we are traveling and getting outside of our comfort zone.
Most recently, Dani was living in the Peruvian Amazon Rainforest working on her Spanish and studying natural medicine with her highly respected indigenous teachers humbly learning their ancestral systems of holistic healing.
In addition to being an actress, Dani is also a harpist and a keeper of sacred songs. Dani is a Vision Quester, a Moon Dancer and a Dietero. With gratitude & humility, she carries a sacred Chanupa for her community, which is a pipe of peace & prayer. She studies with Native and Indigenous teachers from across the Americas to learn the ancient ways from unbroken lineages in an effort to preserve sacred knowledge and ancestral wisdom.
